Deep sleep in Android

As the title says, my TP fell into a deep sleep after booting Android up for a few moments. Did anyone encounter that?

This is normal as the device will go into standby mode fairly quickly.

the thing is once it sleeps, it does not wake up unless I hold on to the power and home button, then it will boot to webos
