Re-Map Hardware Keys

Postby ScoTT3r » Sat Sep 10, 2011 6:04 pm

Hey all, here's some info on how to remap the hardware keys for Back/Home/etc...

First off, adb install a file explorer onto the tablet.
Next Navigate to /system/usr/keylayout/
There are 6 files in this directory, however only ffa-keypad, fluid-keypad, matrix-keypad, and qwerty need editting for remapping.
To ensure remapping is successful, make sure this change is reflected in all 4 of the files listed above.

To remap the key just change the corresponding number listed next to the action you want that button to do.

Keys:
Vol Up - 115
Vol Down - 114
Center Button - 232
Pwr Button - (N/A)
